ARTICLE 1 - Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply, without restriction or reservation, to all sales concluded by ManorModern ("the Seller") to consumers and non-professional buyers ("the Customers" or "the Customer") wishing to acquire the products offered for sale by the Seller ("the Products") on the website https://www.manormodern.com/. They specify the conditions of ordering, payment, delivery, and management of potential returns of Products ordered by Customers. These Terms and Conditions may be supplemented by special conditions, stated on the website, before any transaction with the Customer. These Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to the exclusion of all other conditions, and particularly those applicable to in-store sales or through other distribution and marketing channels. They are accessible at any time on the website https://www.manormodern.com/ and will prevail, where applicable, over any other version or any other contradictory document. As these Terms and Conditions of Sale may be subject to subsequent modifications, the version applicable to the Customer's purchase is the one in force on the website on the date the order is placed.

The Customer is required to read them before placing an order. The choice and purchase of a Product is the sole responsibility of the Customer. The photographs and graphics presented on the website https://www.manormodern.com/ are not contractual and shall not engage the liability of the Seller. The Customer must refer to the description of each Product to know its properties, essential features, and delivery times. The contractual information is presented in English and is confirmed at the latest when the Customer validates the order.

In accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, the Customer has, at any time, a right of access, rectification, opposition, erasure, and portability of all their personal data by writing, by mail and providing proof of identity, to the Seller's address mentioned above. Validation of the order by the Customer constitutes acceptance without restriction or reservation of these Terms and Conditions of Sale. ARTICLE 5 - Orders 5.1 Placing the order
It is up to the Customer to select the Products they wish to order on the website https://www.manormodern.com/, according to the following procedures: The Customer has the opportunity to check the details of their order, its total price, and to correct any errors before confirming their acceptance. It is their responsibility to check the accuracy of the order and immediately report or rectify any errors. An order is registered on the website https://www.manormodern.com/ when the Customer accepts these Terms and Conditions of Sale by checking the appropriate box and validates their order. This validation implies the acceptance of the entirety of these Terms and Conditions of Sale. The sale is only final after the Seller has sent the Customer confirmation of the order's acceptance by email, and after the Seller has received full payment of the price. The Seller reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order from a Customer with whom there is a dispute relating to the payment of a previous order. The Seller's intention is not to sell Products on the website to professionals, but only to consumers for their personal needs. The Seller therefore reserves the right to refuse orders of the same Product in large quantities (more than 25 items).
5.2 Order modification
Any modifications to the order by the Customer can only be taken into account by the Seller subject to feasibility and provided they are notified by email to contact@manormodern.com at least 2 days before the scheduled dispatch date.
5.3 Order cancellation
Outside the exercise of the right of withdrawal (cancellation rights) or cases of force majeure, orders may be cancelled by the Customer at least 2 days before the scheduled dispatch date, at no cost to the Customer.
ARTICLE 6 - Prices
The Products are supplied at the current prices listed on the website https://www.manormodern.com/ when the Seller registers the order. Prices are expressed in Pounds Sterling (£) and include all taxes (VAT). These prices are firm and non-revisable during their validity period, as indicated on the website. Outside this period, the Seller reserves the right to modify the prices at any time. They include processing, shipping, transport, and delivery costs. The payment requested from the Customer corresponds to the total amount of the purchase, including these costs.
ARTICLE 7 - Payment Terms
The price is payable in cash, in full on the day the Customer places the order, via secure payment, according to the following terms:
Payment by credit card is irrevocable, except in the event of fraudulent use of the card. In this case, the Customer may request the cancellation of the payment and the refund of the corresponding sums.
ARTICLE 8 - Deliveries
All orders are prepared and dispatched by our team within 24 to 48 hours (excluding weekends and public holidays). ManorModern delivers to the following countries: the United Kingdom. Our standard delivery times are between 5 and 7 working days to the address provided by the Customer during the ordering process. The Seller undertakes to make its best efforts to deliver the products ordered within the times specified. However, these times are indicative. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if the Products have not been delivered within 30 days of the order (or any other agreed date), the Customer may cancel the contract and receive a full refund. The Seller bears the risks of transport and is required to reimburse the Customer in the event of damage caused during transport.
ARTICLE 9 - Transfer of Ownership - Transfer of Risk
The transfer of ownership of the Seller's Products to the Customer will only take place after full payment of the price by the latter, regardless of the delivery date. Regardless of the date of transfer of ownership, the transfer of risks of loss and damage will only occur when the Customer (or a designated third party) takes physical possession of the Products.
ARTICLE 10 - Right to Cancel (Withdrawal)
In accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the Customer has a period of 30 days from the receipt of the Product to exercise their right to cancel the contract, without having to give any reason, for exchange or refund. The Products must be returned in their original packaging and in perfect condition within 30 days following the notification to the Seller of the Customer's decision to cancel. Damaged, soiled, or incomplete Products are not accepted. The right to cancel can be exercised using the cancellation form available in Annex 2, or any other clear statement expressing the desire to cancel. Only the price of the purchased Products and standard delivery costs are refunded; return costs remain the responsibility of the Customer. The refund will be made within 14 days of the Seller receiving the returned goods.
ARTICLE 11 - Seller's Responsibility - Statutory Rights

The Customer has a permanent right of access, modification, rectification, opposition, portability, and limitation of processing regarding their information. ARTICLE 13 - Intellectual Property
The content of the website https://www.manormodern.com/ is the property of the Seller and its partners and is protected by UK and international intellectual property laws. Any total or partial reproduction is strictly prohibited.
ARTICLE 14 - Unforeseen Circumstances (Frustration)
The Parties agree that the common law doctrine of frustration shall apply in the event that unforeseen circumstances render the performance of this contract impossible or fundamentally different from what was agreed.
ARTICLE 15 - Force Majeure
The Parties cannot be held liable if the non-performance or delay in the performance of any of their obligations described herein arises from a case of force majeure.
ARTICLE 16 - Applicable Law & Language
These Terms and Conditions of Sale and the transactions resulting from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. They are drafted in English.
ARTICLE 17 - Disputes
All disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. The Customer is informed that they may, in any event, resort to Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) before taking legal action.
ARTICLE 18 - Pre-contractual Information - Customer Acceptance
The fact of a person ordering on the website https://www.manormodern.com/ implies full and complete adherence to and acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Sale and obligation to pay for the Products ordered.
